CBT Supervision
Are you looking for a BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with extensive experience of providing supervision to trainee and qualified CBT Therapists?
Clinicians practicing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy are required to have regular CBT supervision with an appropriately qualified and experienced CBT supervisor.
CBT Reflections can provide supervision with Helen Maharaj a BABCP Accredited Therapist. Helen has extensive CBT supervision training with experience both in the NHS and in private settings.
----
I have trained practitioners and supported trainee CBT therapists through IAPT and non-IAPT CBT postgraduate diploma courses. I am able to give feedback on session recordings using the CTS-R as required by the BABCP.
I offer private Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) supervision to both qualified and trainee therapists.
As well as running CBT Reflections I lead and supervise a team of therapists in a busy, well performing NHS Talking Therapies service.
My approach to supervision is to be collaborative and be led by your supervision goals. Alongside the development of CBT knowledge and skills I encourage self reflection. This supports supervisees to gain an understanding of themselves and builds self awareness.
I am also experienced in supervision of supervision encouraging supervisors to develop their skills.

CBT Supervision can be provided for professionals who fall into a number of different groups including but not limited to the following:
-
CBT Therapists in private practice.
-
Trainee CBT Therapists who require supervision to reach the number of hours needed to apply for BABCP Accreditation. This can include the marking of session recordings using the CTS-R for BABCP accreditation (charged separately).
-
CBT Therapists working in organisations without accredited therapists to supervise, such as private hospitals and specialist clinics. Invoices can be provided.
-
Supervisees who have completed a CBT level 1 accredited training course and require support to apply for BABCP accreditation. Including additional supervision hours and support to complete their KSA portfolio and/or application form.
